Artist's Comments
Well... this pic was an experiment of sorts. I fell in love with the colour 'viridian' (don't ask. I know... it's wierd.) and I wanted to use it in a piece. So, I tried to do a pic in which the scarf/shawl was the only thing that colour, so that it would stand out. (I also played around with a watercolour wash in the background. )The thing is... I think it stands out TOO MUCH. The piece kinds of feels off to me, but I'm putting it up to get more opinions. I like it, but I'm not really happy with the colour of her scarf (although I love the colour...the colour may not fit the piece.)

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
