Artist's Comments
Hey, all. I've been feeling like I need to step up my game lately. I want to be better so bad! So, I gotta try to to more 'finished' life studies and stuff. The concept art that I see on a lot of websites blows my mind away, and I want to be able to produce stuff of that quality, and at that speed. The standard time is 90 mins, so that's what I'm working with.
I tried a new blending method with this, and I like the way it turned out. A wanted to be able to blend, but still see the strokes. I also had a fear of painting colours besides "skin colours" on someone's face, because if it's not done right, it just looks like they fell face first into mutiple cans of paint. I threw my fears out the window and just tried it, and I rather like how it turned out. Hopefully this will be a sign of great things to come. Hope you like it!
